The players slip into the role of rich patricians in ancient Rome. Everyone is trying to build a lucrative district to score as many prestige points as possible. The novel way to get to the individual buildings of his district, and the varied display of the many different score cards makes the game to an unusual and very varied strategy game of the successful author Stefan Feld.
